The Society of Mining Professors (SOMP) will hold its 23rd Annual General Meeting betwen July 12 and 16, 2012, at the Wroclaw University of Technology in Wroclaw, Poland, organized by Prof. Monika Hardygora.

• The 24th Annual General Meeting in 2013 will be held in Greece organized by the Technical University of Crete under the leadership of Prof. Zach Agioutantis. More details will be provided at a later date.
